RSC Equipment Rental recently opened a branch in Gormley, Ontario, its first store in the Toronto area. The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based rental company said it will open up to 12 more rental centers in Ontario in the near future.

The Gormley branch is the company’s third in Ontario, with existing branches in Ottawa and Sarnia. RSC now has 20 stores in Canada and 470 in North America.
“We are planning aggressive expansion in Ontario to meet strong customer demand,” said Bob Taylor, RSC district manager. “Toronto is the third largest metropolitan complex in North America and there are more than 1,000 industrial plants alone, within a 20-mile drive of our new Gormley facility.

The new store is about a 15-minute drive north of downtown Toronto, and near the towns of Newmarket, Aurora, Markham and Richmond Hill. The branch’s equipment fleet is valued at more than $4 million.

The company plans to hold a grand opening later this fall, said branch manager Paul Koidis.

RSC Equipment Rental is No. 2 on the RER 100.
