Resale Prices Drop Slightly in June, EquipmentWatch Reports

Nationwide used equipment sales, in auction and resale, dropped 0.4 percent in June compared to May, according to the latest EquipmentWatch Index.

Nationwide used equipment sales, in auction and resale, dropped 0.4 percent in June compared to May, according to the latest EquipmentWatch Index. The only region that posted an increase was the Midwest, where prices increased 1.2 percent compared to May. Meanwhile, the average age of equipment decreased in both resale and auction markets, by two and four months respectively.

The June report includes a look at age benchmarks by equipment category and by manufacturer.
