Natural Gas Services Group, a leading provider of gas compression equipment and services to the natural gas industry, increased rental revenues 22.3 percent year over year in 2013. The company posted $69.1 million in rental revenue, compared to $56.5 million a year ago.
Total revenue was $89.2 million, a 4.8-percent year-over-year decrease compared to $93.7 million in 2013. The decrease is primarily the result of lower compressor sales because of a large one-time sale of rental compressors in 2012 of approximately $11 million.
Natural Gas Services Group specializes in compressors to the oil-and-gas industry, from manufacturers such as LeRoi, Sullair and Frick.
