Furthering its commitment to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, Fort Dodge, Iowa-based Mid-Country Machinery recently partnered with Kobelco to produce a SK210 Acera Mark 8 excavator for its rental fleet.

Earlier this year, when Mid-Country Machinery partners Bud PeCoy, Mark Swedlund, Lucas Peed and Bob Conaway learned that the wife of one of their customers suffered from breast cancer, they decided to create a breast cancer awareness campaign by purchasing two special JLG Model 800S telescoping boomlifts to add to their rental fleet.

PeCoy, who pledged to donate 10 percent of all income derived from the rental of the JLG machines for 54 months, also announced plans to donate 10 percent of the rental proceeds from the new pink Kobelco excavator over the next five years to the Komen Foundation.
