Mabey Provides Bridge Equipment for Colorado Rebuilding Efforts

Sept. 20, 2013

Mabey Inc., a leader in the engineered construction equipment rental industry, said this week that emergency temporary bridge equipment is being moved to the Front Range of Colorado to support rebuilding efforts after massive flood damage.

“It’s hard to comprehend the magnitude of the flood damage and the impact on the residents of Colorado,” said Robert Aylward, Mabey Inc. CEO. “From our work over the years with Vermont, North Carolina, and other states after natural disasters, we know that the transportation system is the first rebuilding challenge. We are currently moving equipment to the Front Range to quickly provide emergency bridges and support to the rebuilding teams.”

Mabey, based in Elkridge, Md., is a manufacturer and supplier of modular steel bridges and structural supports with supply locations on the West and East Coasts. The company provides equipment, professional engineering and site technical advisors to help build temporary or permanent bridges.
