Kubota Tractor Corp. unveiled its new SSV-Series skid-steer loaders at World of Concrete in Las Vegas, with the 64.-hp SSV65 and 74-hp SSV75, both of which will be available at Kubota dealerships in June.

“The SSV65 and SSV75 are Kubota-engineered from the ground up, inside and out,” said Paul Manger, construction equipment product marketing director for Kubota.

Standard on the SSV models is a slide-up, front-entry door that rises overhead, instead of swinging out. The design allows the door to be opened regardless of loader position so the operator can enter and exit the machine even when the unit is in a tight or difficult position. Other standard features include a spacious, dust-resistant pressurized cabin with an optimized climate control system, and a side light that enhances visibility and safer operation at night. Also an optional multi-function lever feature is available, allowing for fingertip control of major machine and implement functions.

The SSV series is powered by a Tier 4 certified four-cylinder Kubota diesel engine.
