Kansas City Metro Sheriff’s Office Holds Theft Summit

As part of its T.R.A.C.E. program — Theft Reports of Agricultural and Construction Equipment — the Johnson County Kansas Sheriff’s office recently hosted a theft summit on heavy farm and construction equipment theft. The goal was to train and help owners protect valuable equipment and teach them how to assist in its recovery.

As part of its T.R.A.C.E. program — Theft Reports of Agricultural and Construction Equipment — the Johnson County Kansas Sheriff’s office recently hosted a theft summit on heavy farm and construction equipment theft. The goal was to train and help owners protect valuable equipment and teach them how to assist in its recovery.

The T.R.A.C.E. program, which began last year, has more than 300 members throughout the metropolitan area and other locations in Kansas and Missouri. It brings together law officers, owners, dealers, rental companies and insurance adjusters and agents.
