McConnellsburg, Pa.-based JLG Industries last week announced the grand opening of its third ServicePLUS location in Kennesaw, Ga., near Atlanta. ServicePLUS provides equipment repair, maintenance and reconditioning, equipment inspections, mobile service and training on all JLG-manufactured products as well as those of competing manufacturers. This expansion supports the company’s long-term strategy to expand its after-market business.

“We are very excited about the continuing expansion of ServicePLUS, which serves to increase the convenience and availability of our various service offerings,” said Joe Dixon, president of JLG Equipment Services. “Our technical expertise allows us to provide our customers with a reliable and cost effective way to extend the useful life of their equipment and maximize the value of their investment.”

The Georgia location is strategic in serving customers in the Southeast region of the United States. ServicePLUS currently has service center locations in Houston and McConnellsburg, Pa., serving the South Central and Mid-Atlantic regions of the country, respectively. The company anticipates opening additional locations in the future in support of its strategy to generate at least 35 percent of consolidated operating profit from activities other than new machine sales.

JLG Industries is a global producer of access equipment. The company’s diverse product portfolio encompasses brands such as JLG aerial work platforms; JLG, SkyTrak, Lull and Gradall telehandlers; and an array of complementary accessories.
