JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corp. company, this week announced the creation of an Authorized Service Provider network for the North American market. These network locations work in conjunction with JLG Ground Support aftermarket services and are trained and equipped to help JLG’s distributors with major repairs, warranty work, maintenance, inspections and more.

“JLG’s service providers are quality service operations, 100-percent focused on service work and typically do not rent or sell equipment,” said Chris Mellott, JLG’s vice president of sales, marketing and customer support for The Americas. “They have been evaluated by JLG’s training and technical staff and are measured annually by JLG and our customers to retain their status. These service providers complement JLG’s company-owned service centers in Houston; Riverside, Calif.; and Bedford, Pa., and expand our service offering throughout the region to support our customers.”

The primary focus of JLG service centers and service providers is to help equipment distributors and rental companies save money, the company said. JLG customers are tasked to service an ever-expanding fleet comprised of a variety of products. JLG’s service providers offer aerial work platform and telehandler technical expertise and are a great resource to help equipment rental and sales companies meet their service needs during peak demand for heavy repairs, for quicker response to a remote area or even when service personnel call in sick. JLG created this network to be a reliable resource for its distributors to provide the best possible service to the market.

JLG currently has 12 authorized service providers with mobile service and in-house repair capabilities to serve major markets with plans to more than double that in the coming year.
