Indeck Power Equipment Co. is assisting the relief efforts after Hurricane Sandy with the rental of industrial generators and boilers. Indeck has provided emergency power equipment rental services since its founding in 1960. Indeck maintains a fleet of trailer-mounted rental generators ranging in size from 100kW to 2,200kW in various voltages and rental boilers from 24,000 pph to 250,000 pph.

Indeck began responding to requests for commercial generators a week before Hurricane Sandy hit shore, with initial calls coming from supermarkets and food-refrigeration warehouses. Indeck is working with the city of New York, FEMA and area hospitals in restoring power to critical areas.

“As the first emergency boiler rental company in the United States, we have grown in experience, knowledge and breadth from boilers to generators to chillers,” said Russ Rabago, rental department manager. “We can handle the most difficult scenarios nationwide. We are working 24/7 to provide power solutions.”

Indeck Power Equipment Co. is based in Wheeling, Ill., with branches in Erie, Pa.; and St. Hyacinthe, P.Q., Canada.
