Honnen Equipment announced that 18-year heavy equipment industry veteran Jon Asbury was elected vice president at a shareholder’s meeting. Asbury will oversee all sales operations for the used, Wirtgen and Manitowoc divisions for the Commerce City, Colo.-based distributor with a major rental division.
Asbury started with Honnen as a territory manager in 2004 and became Asphalt Division sales manager in 2009. Since that time, Asbury’s responsibilities have broadened to include used equipment and the Manitowoc Crane sales division as well.
Honnen Equipment is authorized dealer for John Deere’s Construction and Forestry division. A major rental player, Honnen Equipment is No. 67 on the RER 100.
