Holt Cat Power Systems is continuing its expansion program with the construction of new generator packaging and engine rebuild facilities in Longview and San Antonio, Texas.
Continued high prices for oil and natural gas have sparked growth with increased demand for power generators and oilfield equipment, including diesel and natural gas engines provided by the Power Systems Division.
“In order to keep up with these new requirements from customers in East Texas and Central Texas, we are building new facilities and hiring additional technicians in Longview and San Antonio,” said Bob Stratton, vice president and general manager of the Power Systems Division. “For customers in far South Texas, we opened a new facility in Corpus Christi in August 2007.”
Holt Caterpillar is one of North America’s largest Caterpillar dealers. Holt Cat Rentals, based in San Antonio, is No. 22 on the RER 100.
