HERC Re-opens in Las Vegas and Modesto, Calif.

Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. recently celebrated the grand re-opening of its Las Vegas general rental facility. The event, which drew more than 860 people, showcased the facility’s showroom and newly expanded product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies.

At the grand re-opening, vendor demonstrations and literature were available, a free lunch was catered by Memphis Championship Barbecue and giveaways were provided on-site. HERC management participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The company also announced it will celebrate the grand re-opening of its Modesto, Calif., facility on Friday, April 13, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The newly renovated facilities offer a broad range of new products, including roto-tillers, buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. In addition to the newly expanded product line, the location still offers a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl.

The authorized Case Construction equipment dealer for southern Nevada and Mojave County, Ariz., for 20 years, HERC Las Vegas offers a full line of Case products.

HERC added 24 general rental locations in 2006 as part of its planned expansion in that line of equipment rental and currently has 115 general rental locations throughout the United States and Canada. Park Ridge, N.J.-based HERC is No. 3 on the RER 100.
