Doosan Infracore America has added Bobcat of Boston to its growing dealer network, serving the Eastern Massachusetts area.

Doosan Infracore America has added Bobcat of Boston to its growing dealer network, serving the Eastern Massachusetts area. A true family business, the dealership was founded in 1979 by Jack Arsenault, and is currently owned and operated by his son Steve and son-in law Tom Ratacik.

“Our relationship with Doosan takes our business and our customers’ business to a whole new level,” said Ratacik. “We work with many clients for decades and have seen a lot of them grow from small businesses with one or two pieces of equipment to large construction companies. Before becoming a part of Doosan, we lost their business when their needs outgrew our products. Now we can provide them with wheel loaders, larger excavators and other heavy equipment, enabling us to retain our customers.”

“With the addition of dealers like Bobcat of Boston, we continue to expand our dealer network and increase the Doosan presence,” added Paul Manger, general manager of dealer development for Doosan Infracore. “It’s a tangible outcome of our emphasis on the importance of North America to our overall growth strategy. We are proud to have such strong, service-oriented dealers in our network. They are essential to our pursuit of becoming one of the world’s top heavy equipment companies.”

Ratacik added that the economic slowdown is a good opportunity to make the transition to Doosan.

“Working with Doosan is a big step for us,” said Ratacik. “The slow economy is the perfect opportunity to get all the pieces of our business in place. When the next upswing comes, we will already be able to serve our customers’ small and large equipment needs.”

Doosan Infracore America services a large network of Doosan dealers in North America from its headquarters in Suwanee, Ga.
