Delta Rigging & Tools, a leading provider of wire rope, rigging and lifting equipment, today announced the acquisition of Kelly Wire Rope. The acquisition of Kelly establishes Delta Rigging as the dominant provider of wire rope and rigging throughout Texas. The acquisition is the sixth in the last three years by Delta Rigging.
Kelly Wire Rope is based in Pasadena, Texas, with additional locations in Odessa and Fort Worth. Kelly specializes in the fabrication and distribution of wire rope, wire rope slings up to 3½ inches in diameter, synthetic slings, rigging hardware and chain. Kelly also has testing and certification capabilities for various types of rigging and lifting products. Kelly is the leading rigging operation in southeast Texas focused primarily on the land-based oil and gas drilling industry. Kelly employs 35 full-time employees and all are expected to remain with the company.
