Dawes Crane Operator Wins “Engineer of the Year” Award

Operator Ken Mulryan of Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, a member of the All Family of Companies, was named Engineer of the Year by the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 139, District D. Mulryan works out of Dawes’ Milwaukee branch.

Operator Ken Mulryan of Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, a member of the All Family of Companies, was named Engineer of the Year by the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 139, District D. Mulryan works out of Dawes’ Milwaukee branch.

Mulryan first joined Local 139 in 1986 when starting out as a crane operator and has become known over the years for his mentoring activities.

“Ken is highly regarded among the union’s rank and file as someone who will always help younger members learn the craft of proper crane operation in order to advance their careers,” said Dave Backman, of the local’s communications department. “He regularly answers questions about the work they do and the equipment they operate.”

Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental has four locations in Wisconsin, and is a member of the All Erection & Crane Rental Corp. family of companies, based in Cleveland.
