The California Rental Association has scheduled its Rental Rally Tradeshow for Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 14 and 15, 2014 at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif., with the opening cocktail party scheduled for Monday evening, Jan. 13. As usual, the show will feature two days of equipment, party and service exhibits, as well as social events.
The banquet and awards ceremony will be held Tuesday evening, Jan. 14, at the Pomona Valley Mining Company restaurant, where CRA will make a special presentation to the Daniel Hernandez Youth Foundation. Hernandez, who has hosted and produced a weekly television series for the past 25 years called Sport Fishing with Dan Hernandez established the San Diego-based nonprofit organization in 2001. His goal was to share the excitement of sport fishing with underprivileged kids and help build their self-esteem and confidence through participation in free fishing events at city lakes and saltwater fishing trips throughout California. To date, the foundation has reached more than 10,000 youths.
On behalf of the CRA San Diego Territory Golf Tournament, Bill Miholich, of El Camino Rents, and Dale Blackwell, executive director of CRA, will present a check for $11,781.22 to the foundation.
