Manfredi & Associates recently published its annual market share analysis, noting that Bobcat posted a 34-percent market share in the hyper-competitive skid-steer loader market, apparently re-gaining market share that had dropped in 2006 to 32.1 percent. The Gwinner, N.D.-based manufacturer, now owned by Doosan Infracore, has dropped in recent years from its 41 percent market share in 2002, as a result of increased competition in the marketplace. New Holland also gained skid-steer loader market share, posting a 16.5-percent market share, up from 15.1 percent in 2006.
