Bobcat Co. recently added Merz Farm Equipment as an authorized sales, service and parts provider of Bobcat equipment in Falls City, Neb.
Merz Farm Equipment has primarily served the agricultural equipment needs of crop and livestock producers throughout southeast Nebraska, as well as those throughout the surrounding regions of northwest Missouri, northeast Kansas and southwest Iowa.
Nelson Merz purchased the local tractor dealership in Falls City in 1953 and it is now under the direction of his son, Bruce Merz, and grandson, Mitch Merz. The dealership is currently being expanded to include new administrative offices as well as larger conference room and showroom spaces — better enabling Merz Farm Equipment to add Bobcat skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, compact excavators and utility vehicles to its product lineup.
