Blanchard Machinery, South Carolina Caterpillar dealer, has created a Machining & Hydraulic Services division within its existing machine shop, now offering Computer Numerical Control Rottler machine tools. In addition to improved technology and faster repair time, Blanchard can also leverage the capabilities of the company’s transportation, parts and service network, including a free nightly shuttle service between branches to transport any item requiring repair.
“By expanding the scope of operations in our machine shop, we can provide a wider array of machining services, reducing the time spent on repairs and keeping our customers up and running,” said Chris Pierson, vice president of product support for Blanchard Machinery.
Stacy Smith, operations manager of the Machining & Hydraulic Services shop said the machine shop is not limited to heavy machinery repair or Caterpillar engines. “We can do just about any metal work that needs to be done,” Smith said.
The Machining & Hydraulic Services Shop is located at Blanchard Machinery’s West Columbia, S.C., facility.
Blanchard Machinery is also a major player in the rental market, No. 30 on the RER 100.
