Digital rental provider BigRentz has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by The Orange County Register. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage LLC, a leading provider of technology-based engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.

“It is an honor to have our team members rate working at BigRentz so highly and to also be committed to our mission of improving the heavy equipment rental process,” said Scott Cannon, CEO of BigRentz. “I believe an important factor in a successful workplace is for everyone to be in agreement towards a common goal and feel they are equipped with the tools, skills and opportunities to be part of reaching that goal. The growth and positive brand recognition we’ve gained among our industry is a result of our dedicated team.”

BigRentz employs 70 people at its headquarters in Irvine where employees fill roles in IT, sales, marketing, accounting and customer service. Some of the company perks include volunteer opportunities with Habitat for Humanity, team building activities such as Nerf wars and ping pong championships and opportunities to openly share ideas to enhance company operations.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
