This year’s World of Concrete, Feb. 3-6 in Las Vegas, drew 55,779 registered professionals, up from just over 48,000, an increase of more than 15 percent in attendance. More than 1450 companies exhibited across 675,000 square feet of space, an increase of more than 100,000 net square feet from 2014. It was the largest World of Concrete show in six years.

“With the industry ramping up again, education became a key asset at WOC this year,” said Jackie James, show director. “Attendees took more classes than they have in the last six years, sharpening their skills for what’s to come. In addition, international attendees made a big impact, scouring the show for new equipment, tools and technology to make their operations more efficient and profitable.”

Exhibitors in general told RER they were pleased with attendance and attendee interest, although attendance was light the first couple of days as a result of snowy conditions in the northeast United States.
