Airtow Trailers, based in LaVerne, Calif., has opened a new manufacturing facility in Wapakoneta, Ohio.

Airtow Trailers, based in LaVerne, Calif., has opened a new manufacturing facility in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The plant, Airtow’s second manufacturing site, is part of the company’s plans to drive the growth of its trailer business and expand further into central and eastern United States.

“Our successful growth has fueled the need for additional manufacturing capacity,” said Travis Townsend, sales and marketing manager for Airtow. “The Ohio manufacturing facility will allow us to dramatically increase our production efficiencies and enable us to continue to serve our customers better than ever before from the leading market position that we hold today. The new location will facilitate and expedite our ability to respond proactively to customer needs.”

Airtow Trailers manufactures drop-deck trailers from eight to 16 feet in length, with load capacity variations from 3,200 to 12,000 pounds.
