Aggreko Augments Western Canada Sales Team

Aggreko, global leader in rental power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air, has added three salesmen to its western Canada team. Gerry Johnson, Sean Manz and Richard Lassu have joined Aggreko’s Edmonton group as sales representatives, reporting to Andy Holland, area sales manager, Aggreko Canada.

The three sales reps, who combine more than 50 years of experience, come to Aggreko through its August 2008 acquisition of Power Plus Rentals and Sales. Johnson has worked in the oil and gas industry for more than 30 years on several continents, and will focus on the oil and gas, mining, camp utilities and pipeline industries. Manz has worked for more than 10 years for Cummins, Finning and Power Plus Rentals. Manz will cover sales and marketing for consulting engineers, refineries, gas and chemical plants, utilities and major construction projects. Lassu, who began his career with Power Plus in 2002, will be responsible for sales and support of the contracting, rental/re-hire and events sectors.

In its Canada operations, Aggreko also operates service centers in Fort McMurray, Alberta; Toronto and Sarnia, Ontario, and is the official supplier of temporary power and temperature control solutions for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
