AED Executive Forum Looks at Profitability and Opportunities

Associated Equipment Distributors’ annual Executive Forum this year, entitled “Taking Control in the Do-it-Yourself Recovery” will take a look at profitability and opportunities. Sponsored by INFOR, the forum will begin with an economic overview by Jim Huntzinger, executive vice president and chief investment officer for BOK Financial and will be followed by a session called “The Truth About the CE Dealer Profitability Plight and How to Change It,” moderated by Mike Marks, principal, Indian River Consulting Group.The session will explore results of interviews with high-profit CE dealers; business models; rental; manufacturer/dealer dysfunctions; and parts and service inefficiencies.The Forum will also look at liability issues; shale energy’s opportunities and continued regulatory threats; how to protect your company from exposure to whistleblowers; and a session on risk-control strategies. The Forum will also include a session on changes occurring in health-care coverage, what employers must do to comply and what options are available to business owners.
