Wacker Neuson expands its mobile generator line upwards with 180 kVA and 240 kVA (pictured) sizes. Subaru introduces two new compact conventional generators, the RGX3000 (pictured) and RGX3800, designed to handle the needs of contractors, homeowners and recreational users. The RGX3000 is powered by Subaru's 6-hp EX17 engine. The unit delivers a maximum output of 3,000 watts and offers 10.3 hours of continuous operation. Powered by the 7-hp EX21 engine, the RGX3800 delivers a maximum output of 3,800 watts and can operate continuously for 9.5 hours. It also features an automatic idle control, which lowers the engine speed when no electrical power is needed, lessening fuel consumption while minimizing noise.

Doosan Infracore Portable Power

Doosan Infracore Portable Power upgrades several models in its mobile generator portfolio to meet the Environmental Protection Agency's current standards for mobile, off-highway, diesel-powered equipment. The portfolio now includes a total of 10 models ranging from 25 kVA to 570 kVA, all of which comply with current EPA emissions regulations in North America. The G70 (pictured) and G90, rated at 72 kVA and 94 kVA respectively, are powered by John Deere engines that are certified to EPA Tier 3 requirements in effect until 2012 when Tier 4 interim standards become effective. These new models replace the G60 and G80 and feature as much as 24-percent higher output, in addition to cleaner emissions.

Terex

Terex introduces the all new T240 and the design-enhanced T180 (pictured) generators. A Tier-3-compliant engine, permanent magnet generator, 110-percent environmental spill containment and a shared user interface with all of the Terex generators are standard on both models. The redesigned T180 features a new cabinet design with a double-walled 110-percent spill containment feature. In addition, the new overlapping sheet metal design of the cabinet, also on the T240, reduces noise and water ingress. The T240 provides users with an affordable generator option at 190 kW.
