Going, Going, Gone

CapitalAssetSale, located at www.capitalassetsale.com, describes itself as a true partner for asset disposition, whether rental companies have end-of-life, distressed, idle or surplus equipment or supplies. This online marketplace provides services that include asset merchandising, condition report services, brand protection, vertical-specific market making, customized auction solutions, and a bidXchange auction process.

Beginning in 2000 as a division within SalvageSale, the company has partnered with corporate clients in the disposition process. Its mission is to deliver value-added auction technology and product expertise to assist clients with the disposition of surplus, damaged or end-of-life assets. The construction equipment marketplace listing features various equipment such as backhoes, compaction equipment, excavators, loaders and skid steers.

For Your Protection

Arxcis, an aerial equipment industrial training and OSHA-accredited crane inspections provider, has transferred its training program from the classroom to CD. The Arxcis Hard Hat Training Series CDs are fully customizable, allowing instructors to use the information as is or to tailor it to their unique applications. Trainers can view samples and purchase CDs at www.hardhattraining.com.

Each Hard Hat Training Series CD includes federal OSHA laws, accident profiles and inspection tips on more than 50 PowerPoint slides. Student manuals and tests, as well as instructor guides and certificates of completion are also a part of the package.

In addition, the site offers online training programs on boom trucks, overhead cranes, utility cranes and self-propelled aerial lifts. Online classes that focus on bucket trucks, scissorlifts, trench safety and confined spaces are coming soon to the site.

Secure and Searchable Site

Blastrac Global recently revamped its website to include more options benefiting both Blastrac customers and the flooring surface preparation industry. The new site, www.blastrac.com, allows customers to purchase products online and to take advantage of monthly specials and sales. The site's “My Account” area securely stores customer information for quick and convenient checkout while also showing transaction histories and other upcoming products for sale that correspond with the customer's line of business.

Through the website, customers can access up-to-date information and trends in the surface preparation industry as well as jobsite tips. An “Ask the Expert” section allows visitors to ask experts and trainers specific questions.

Web visitors will also benefit from the improved media library where they can find information on products, technology, applications, access training videos, manuals and information.
