The new eCAM Pipeline Inspection Camera System from Electric Eel is designed to quickly inspect and locate a wide variety of pipeline problems while reducing costs by identifying exactly where the problem is before digging. Compact and easy to use, the eCAM systems have a variety of uses such as in-line inspection of sewer and drain lines, septic tanks, service laterals, chimneys, HVAC ducts and more.
“The eCAM Ace is the unit that is very well suited for the rental market and was very popular at The Rental Show in Las Vegas,” says Mark Speranza, vice president sales for Electric Eel. “This is a simple, basic camera system that is extremely easy to operate and maintain. The unit is standard with 125 feet of push cable on a heavy-duty compact reel and features a color camera that will negotiate 3-inch P traps. A 512-Hertz transmitter in the camera head allows for locating pipelines.”
The Ace is designed for use in 3- to 10-inch-diameter lines. It also features a 5.4-inch LCD monitor with AR film for optimal viewing in sunlight and has a video output jack for recording capability.
Other features include an easy navigation menu and transfer of MPEG recording files to a personal computer with USB ports; a 2-hour NiMH battery with built-in charger and power display; and 8-inch wheel for maneuverability.
