Pressure-Pro
The Semi-Pro Series is designed to provide a fully featured pressure washer that is suitable for light commercial and consumer use. Semi-Pro units are configured to produce pressures ranging from 2,400 psi to 4,000 psi and are powered by Honda GX or Robin-Subaru engines with a choice of AR or General pumps. The line also features a state-of-the-art aluminum frame with a lifetime warranty. Additional features include adjustable pressure, padded shock absorbing feet, gates hoses with quick connect and four color-coded spray nozzles.
Greg Spradlin, president of Proline Equipment, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., calls the SP Series pressure washer a good value because it combines an aluminum frame with 4,000 psi. Most value line units are on steel frames, which start to rust away very quickly, Spradlin says. Aluminum looks good for a lot longer. “We threw it out on our rental fleet for six months and we didn't have a single problem with it,” said Spradlin, who now sells the line. “If it can handle that abuse in rental, it can handle anything.”

Riveer
Riveer Co. introduces its Heavy Mud racks, which feature a solid tread plate surface, a gradual slope to a center trough and the same 10,000-pound wheel load capacity as its standard Cyclonator racks. The company's patented filtration and recovery system ensures that the center rack is always dry and the filtration system recycles constantly to ensure clean wash water. The Heavy Mud racks are designed for use with the Cyclonator II for heavy dirt applications.
Pat Barney, owner of Aerial Work Platforms Inc., Waukesha, Wis., initially chose the Cyclonator product after seeing it at an ARA show and checking out referrals given to him by the manufacturer. Barney also found that the company was very quick to respond to problems encountered by customers. “They listen to what the customer is saying and they make the adjustment,” Barney says. “They want to make it right, not just sell us a product.”

Mi-T-M
The HS Series hot water gasoline/diesel skid pressure washers feature electric start engines, belt drive triplex piston pump and a heavy-duty powder coated steel square tube frame. The HS units also offer ½ inch schedule 80 coil with stainless steel wrap heat exchanger, 80 mesh high volume stainless steel inlet water strainer, pressure relief valve, 2,500-watt generator, 50 foot steel wire-braided pressure hose, professional-grade insulated trigger gun and adjustable pressure insulated dual lance.
Bruce Carpenter, purchasing agent for Whitefish, Mont.-based Midway Rentals, uses the HS Series machines from Mi-T-M because of their durability. “Our customers put them to the test,” Carpenter says. “Both the machine functionality and the basic framework of the unit have to be sturdy. It's primarily their reliability that keep us coming back.”

Shark Pressure Washers
Shark Pressure Washers rolled out a series of self-contained, gasoline-powered hot water pressure washers designed for on-site cleaning. The four models of the SGP series deliver cleaning power of 3 to 3.8 gpm and 3,000 to 3,500 psi of pressure. All are powered by 9- to 13-hp Honda engines with two models featuring electric start. Other features include a cold-rolled, Schedule 80, heating coil made of ½-inch steel pipe; adjustable thermostat and hour meter; and downstream detergent injection system.
When called upon to clean up a major oil spill in Massachusetts, Braintree-based Clean Harbors Environmental Services turned to a local rental company for pressure washers. “The specific model we were using was transportable and could easily fit in the back of pick-up trucks or onto tow behind trailers,” says Mark Andrews. “They could be transported into beach areas where larger skid-mounted pressure washers couldn't.”

Shipp Cleaning Systems
New from Shipp Cleaning Systems, the Destroyer pressure washer has a complete line of direct drive and triple V-belt drive pumps. The working components include a Honda GX engine, Cat, General and AR pumps, and K7 unloaders. The Destroyer features an aircraft aluminum frame and handles with a cold roll steel axle and 11 inch full pneumatic tires. The frame, axle and handles have a full replacement rental warranty that replaces bent handles, axles and frames for 10 years. It comes with chemical injector, four high-pressure spray nozzles, one chemical nozzle and heavy duty gun and assembly.
Bill with Faribault Rental in Faribault, Minn., chose the Shipp pressure washer “because it's light with the top-of-the-line components; the engine, unloader and pump are all industrial grade. With the weight being so much less and the strength of the cold roll steel axle, you can really throw it around and it can take it.”

The new electric-powered continuous duty indoor mobile pressure washer from Water Cannon features an environmentally friendly 10 hp industrial Marathon Electric Motor with magnetic starter for clean, long life capability. At 4 gpm @ 4,200 psi, it delivers continuous duty with all the power, but not fumes. The all aluminum lifetime frame balances and moves easily with heavy-duty tires. HydraMotion Cleaning Systems, a division of Mendit Chemical, introduces its newest flat surface cleaning accessory, the SideWinder Model 105FW and 105CW. All Sidewinder models can be used with both hot and cold pressure washers for pressure washing roofs, decks, sidewalks and other paved surfaces, the company says. New features include a wheeled brush assembly, wheel kit retrofit, interchangeable handles and a two-year warranty.
