The Bomag BMP 8500 articulated compactor features bolt-on drum extensions, which give the BMP 8500 a dual working width of 24 and 33.5 inches. It also features the Bomag Operator Safety System, which is designed to increase worker safety by automatically stopping machine travel if the operator is in the safety zone. Powered by a 19.4-hp Kubota diesel engine, the BMP 8500 delivers high compaction output from its dual exciters and directed centrifugal force.
