Point of Rental Software has hired Lisa Wessenger, formerly with United Rentals, as a data analyst and reporting engineer, providing custom reports for rental stores.
“I looked at [Point of Rental’s] website and read the newsletters and thought, ‘Oh my gosh, I want to work there so bad,” Wessenger said. She applied for a bilingual trainer position, despite speaking only English, just to get her resume in the building, Point of Rental officials said.
Wessenger’s first job was with Mango Equipment in Shreveport, La., where she managed the office, acted as an executive assistant, and wrote software. She has spent the past 20 years with NES Rentals and United Rentals, consolidating databases and training employees remotely. In her new role with Point of Rental, Wessenger will be working on rental data and customer service.
