Nissan Forklift Corp. recently launched NFCdirect.com, a new online portal for Nissan Forklift’s dealers and other partners. NFCdirect.com allows Nissan Forklift to provide more personalized content to its partners and simplifies many online processes.

The system is designed to simplify ordering by allowing users to make complete orders from their own spreadsheets by uploading an Excel file instead of individually ordering each item needed. It offers one-click reordering, simplifying the ordering of items that require frequent restocking. Real-time inventory status reduces back ordering and helps dealers to stock parts more efficiently.

Other features include an all-in-one search tool, activity overviews, order status and history summary, price quote histories, embedded parts catalog, direct upload of quotes and orders from the dealership’s business system and parts recommendations.

“E-commerce is not simply about selling online,” said Steve Cianci, director of marketing and product management for Nissan Forklift. “It’s about delivering a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints.”

Nissan Forklift is based in Marengo, Ill.
