Terex Corp. is planning to exhibit more than 50 machines at the Bauma 2010 equipment exposition in Munich, Germany, April 19-25, 2010. Visitors to the Terex stand will see new product launches, significant equipment improvements and live demonstrations from the company’s Aerial Work Platforms, Construction, Cranes and Materials Processing and Mining segments.

“Bauma 2010 represents the first major show for our industry in this new decade,” said Ron DeFeo, Terex chairman and CEO. “At Terex, we are very excited about the 10 years in front of us. We expect that infrastructure investments of all forms will be accelerated in the next 10 years and we expect Terex products to be a strong part of this future.

“We believe we must first focus on always trying to serve our customers better. Such is the case in our recently announced decision to sell our Mining business to Bucyrus International. Even though Terex will no longer be in the mining equipment business we feel we have helped launch a superior product range upon which Bucyrus can build.”

DeFeo was bullish in looking ahead to the future. “We have come a long way at Terex in a few short years,” he said. “Our product offerings have never been better. We have a strong balance sheet and cash to find new product additions to grow. We also believe that the best is still to come, especially for our customers.”

Among the new or upgraded equipment Terex will have on display will be:

• From Terex Aerial Work Platforms, the Genie GTH-4018 SR rotating telehandler.
