Genie's GTH-844 high-reach rough-terrain telehandler has a maximum lift capacity of 8,000 pounds and a maximum lift height of 44 feet. A three-speed forward and reverse powershift transmission increases operator productivity. The telehandler features power-assisted steering, fully hydraulic proportional boom controls and a multi-function joystick controller. The GTH-844 also features a 99-hp John Deere turbocharged diesel engine and a fully enclosed cab.

Manitou
Manitou's new TMT 45 model truck-mounted telescopic joins the TMT 55 in the company's product line. Replacing the TMT 315, the TMT 45 Manitransit features a redesigned fiberglass hood and has a lower center of gravity. Outriggers improve the machine's lifting capacity and a long boom is now an option. The sideshift system virtually eliminates all maintenance breakdowns and maintenance associated with conventional sideshift systems and their associated loss of capacity. Larger tires allow the machine to work in rough-terrain applications.

The SkyTrak Model 8042 telehandler from JLG Industries has a rated capacity of 8,000 pounds and a 6,000-pound capacity at its maximum lift height of 41 feet, 11 inches. At its 26-foot, 7-inch maximum reach, capacity is 1,800 pounds. The 8042 features auxiliary hydraulics for a variety of attachments to increase its utility, including earth augers, side tilt and swing carriages, and buckets. Keytroller
Keytroller's fork protector clamps over the heel and elbow areas of the fork to protect the fork from excessive wear. It has a sacrificial steel alloy casting that wears in place of the fork. The fork protector is easy to install and can be used on any internal combustion or electric forklift. The combination of the side screws tightening and the casting's internal radius prevents slippage of the device. When one side of the sacrificial alloy wears out, it can be turned around to wear the other side. The fork protectors are available in 4-, 5- and 6-inch widths.

The Ingersoll Rand powershift with soft-shift transmission offers power and smooth operation from forward to reverse. The machines feature an electric column-mounted directional and three-speed range control, a dash-mounted two- or four-wheel drive switch and differential lock switch. The transmission disconnect control is ergonomically positioned to the left of the brake, allowing full access for faster mast functions. The unit is also accessible from both right and left sides of the operator station.

The PS6-AWS dumper from Terex features a unique chassis that allows the body of the bed to rotate 90 degrees on either side. The rotating design enables the operator to unload from the side while keeping the chassis straight.
