Aerial lift manufacturer Snorkel continues the development of its integral mid-sized boom range with the launch of the latest addition to the ‘Polaris’ family, the all-new A62JRT articulated rough-terrain boomlift. Preliminary specifications are for a platform height of 62 feet, outreach of 42 feet and ‘up-and-over’ clearance height of 30 feet. Additional versatility is provided by the 8-foot jib and Snorkel’s spacious 8-foot-wide, three-way entry platform with 500 pounds capacity. The A62JRT is the first articulated boom on Snorkel’s new common ‘Polaris’ chassis, first introduced in 2010 on the T46JRT telescopic boom (pictured). Utilizing a common chassis across several mid-size models (also including the forthcoming T66JRT) provides customers with ease of maintenance and low cost of operation.
