Haulotte Group this week announced revenue for the third quarter of 2012. The company generated sales of €76.7 million (about U.S. $99.7 million) in the third quarter of 2012, similar to the same period last year.
Year-to-date consolidated sales were €261.2 million (U.S. $339.6 million) compared with €224.7 million at the end of September 2011, an increase of 16 percent.
Overall, sales increased in all geographic areas, particularly Latin America (90 percent) and Asia Pacific (26 percent). United States continues at a good pace with overall growth of 30 percent at the end of September compared to 2011. Growth in Europe (4 percent) is facing a real slowdown at the end of September, the company said.
Rental business revenue increased 9 percent to €34.3 million (U.S. $44.6 million) in the third quarter compared to €31.5 million a year ago.
Haulotte does not expect the growth rate at the end of September to change significantly during the last quarter of 2012.
