Buoyed by the gradual return to investment by major U.S. rental companies and the dynamism of emerging markets, the 2010 market for powered access platforms found a positive dynamic, with volume growth in excess of 30 percent, Haulotte Group announced this week. Net sales for full-year 2010 were €250 million (about U.S. $348.7 million), a 24-percent increase compared to €202 million in 2009.
The company’s operating income for full-year 2010 was € -46.6 million (U.S. $-64.9 million) compared with € -63.4 million for full-year 2009, an improvement of 26 percent.
The company expects comparable growth in 2011 and expects to return to operational balance.
