The board of directors of CNH Global N.V. last week recommended a dividend of 25 cents per common share for the year 2006. Payment of the dividend is subject to approval at the annual general meeting of shareholders, which will be held on April 2, at the company's registered offices in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

If approved, the dividend will be payable on April 30, to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 23.

Lake Forest, Ill.-based CNH Global N.V. is a global producer of agricultural and construction equipment, including the Case and New Holland brands.
