SORL Auto Parts, a global supplier of brake and control systems to the commercial vehicle industry, this week said the company has entered into a supply agreement with Changsha Zoomlion Heavy Industry, a leading Chinese manufacturer of construction equipment. SORL will supply braking air processing unit technology for Zoomlion’s crane trucks.

SORL, also based in China, said it is targeting other manufacturers of construction equipment in China as potential users of the braking module.

Zoomlion, based in Guangdong, China, manufactures cranes, concrete pumps, compaction rollers, asphalt pavers and other construction equipment, with more than RMB (Chinese Yuan) 50 billion (about $7.7 billion) in 2010 sales.
