Wacker Neuson Visits 2,700 Contractor Sites in Five Days

In a planned effort to showcase its new name, new product lines and predominant field support, Wacker Neuson’s field sales force was out knocking on jobsite trailers recently and the results are already showing up in business activity for Wacker Neuson’s extensive dealer base.

“Our message to the industry was very clear, the merger of Wacker and Neuson Kramer is going to help everyone in our business,” said Johannes Schulze Vohren, vice president sales & product support, “Our jobsite blitz was planned to demonstrate our unmatched support in the field for contractors and our channel partners. Only Wacker Neuson maintains an extensive field sales force that is well trained to be trusted jobsite consultants for all phases of the construction process.”

During the campaign, Wacker Neuson’s field sales force; regional managers, district sales managers, metro jobsite specialists, regional product specialists and field service trainers collectively told customers there are more choices with the new Wacker Neuson. The sales force brought equipment to back up the claim, conducting more than 650 machine demonstrations during the week.

“We really flexed our muscles showing contractors the value of a strong manufacturer’s field sales organization working together with its dealer organization to provide the best support and expertise in the industry,” said Todd Christifulli, national sales manager. “I heard that there were many channel members already receiving positive feedback from contractors before the week was over. Our jobsite blitz generated hundreds of rentals, sales and many new customer leads for our dealer organization.”

As a result of the merger of Munich, Germany-based Wacker Construction Equipment AG and Linz, Austria-based Neuson Kramer Baumaschinen AG the USA subsidiary, Wacker Neuson Corp. now offers a line of compact equipment and continues to support and expand its complete line of light and climate control equipment designed for the construction, landscape, agricultural, utility and homeowner markets.
