Volvo Group Adds Nakamura to Executive Committee

Iwao Nakamura, president of Nissan Diesel, has been appointed a new member of the Volvo Group’s executive committee, effective April 18.

Nakamura has been the president of Nissan Diesel since 2002, and previously held various positions within Nissan Motor, including serving as a member of the board of directors.

Earlier this year, Volvo made a public offer for Nissan Diesel and completed the acquisition last month.

Headquartered in Göteborg, Sweden, the Volvo Group manufacturers trucks, buses and construction equipment, drive systems for marine and industrial applications, aerospace components and services.
