Volvo Construction Equipment named Bill Law vice president of corporate communications, North America. As part of the local executive management team, Law will help drive both internal communications and press relations for the region, as well as continuing to develop corporate communication standards and practices for communications across the sales and manufacturing businesses.

Based at Volvo’s Shippensburg, Pa., facility, Law will coordinate the communication of both global and regional information and will report to regional president Goran Lindgren.

“This is an exciting time to be in North America due to the significant investments that are being made in our operations and a strongly recovering American market,” said Law.

Law previously was based in Brussels, Belgium, at Volvo CE’s global headquarters, leading the company’s external corporate communications.
