Vermeer Corp. last week announced an alliance agreement with Mooresville, Ind.-based Pioneer One, a manufacturer of horizontal directional drilling hammers. Under the agreement, Vermeer’s dealer network will offer contractors access to the Pioneer One line of rock tooling solutions.
The agreement provides Vermeer customers with Pioneer One’s rock boring system, which is designed to enhance rock boring productivity. Pioneer’s directional drilling air hammers are engineered to bore through difficult rock formations using a combination of thrust, pressure and rotation to chip and carve rock from a hole.
Vermeer Corp. is based in Pella, Iowa.
