Triton Power Appoints Eric Johnston CEO

Triton Power, a manufacturer of commercial-grade generators, last week announced Eric Johnston as CEO. Johnston was promoted from senior vice president and becomes the company’s first CEO.

Johnston has been responsible for implementing and overseeing an aggressive growth strategy, as well as the development of the company's new worldwide distributor program. Under his leadership, the company has evolved into an industry innovator, changing the way contractors, builders and equipment dealers purchase and receive commercial-grade generators, the company said.

David Johnston, Eric’s father, will continue to serve as chairman of the company.

“Eric has been an extremely valuable part of the successful growth we’ve experienced thus far in the industry,” said David Johnston. “With everything from treacherous weather and a surge in demand for electricity weakening our power grid, our customers continue to rely on us for dependable backup power options either for the jobsite or for their clients. I’m confident that Eric will continue to drive the company as an industry leader, and one that provides unmatched commitment to excellence for our customers.”

Triton Power is an independent commercial generator distributor in North and South America, serving contractors, builders and equipment dealers. The company has a full stock of industrial generator sets, transfer switches, fuel tanks and trailers, and a full line of accessories for all power needs, available for immediate shipment.
