Toyota Material Handling Named Sole U.S. Distributor of Aichi AWPs

Irvine, Calif.-based Toyota Material Handling U.S.A last week announced it is now the sole distributor of Aichi scissorlifts, and wheeled and crawler boomlifts in the United States.

“Our customers expect the highest level of quality, durability and reliability,” said Shankar Basu, president and CEO of Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A. “And these Aichi products deliver just that — as well as the best warranty in the industry. We are thrilled to be offering another line of Toyota quality products to our customers.”

Toyota Aichi dealers offer a line-up of aerial work lifts, including scissorlifts, crawler and wheeled boomlifts designed specifically to meet a wide range of indoor and outdoor needs.

“These new Aichi-built aerial work platforms have been developed for the U.S. market with efficiency in mind,” said Hisao Suzuki, chairman of Aichi Corp. “With unique designs that optimize productivity and minimize downtime, our products allow customers to focus on their business.”

Since its founding in 1962, Aichi has worked to improve work environments in cooperation with its customers to create safer, more efficient and comfortable work sites for industries such as the utility, communication and construction industries. Toyota Aichi dealers offer support in every area of service, including parts, maintenance, financing, rentals and accessories.

Toyota Material Handling U.S.A. is a leading lift truck supplier in the U.S. and currently offers a full line of high-quality lift trucks sold under the Toyota brand. There are 68 authorized Toyota Industrial Equipment dealers, with a total of 190 dealership locations throughout the United States that offer comprehensive customer service support, including one-stop shopping for both new and certified used lift trucks, parts, service and financing.
