Topcon Positioning Systems recently named Mark Jones as construction sales manager for the Northeast region.
Prior to joining TPS in 2004 as a machine control specialist for the technical support group, Jones worked for a Topcon distributor in Western Canada where he gained field experience working with private and government road building contractors. At TPS, Jones was promoted to construction technical sales specialist before moving to his new position as regional sales manager.
“Mark has proven himself to be a true contributor to Topcon’s construction team, first on the technical side of machine control and now in sales,” said Brian Juroff, director of sales for Topcon’s Construction Business Unit, said. “His technical background, combined with his experience working on the distributor side of the business, gives him the knowledge and know-how to best help strengthen the business of our dealers and productivity of customers.”
Topcon Positioning Systems, Livermore, Calif., designs and manufactures precise positioning products and solutions for the global surveying, construction, agriculture, civil engineering, mapping and GIS, asset management and mobile control markets.
