Brad Burgess joins Topcon Positioning Systems’ Emerging Business Unit as national sales manager for scanning products.

Topcon Positioning Systems has hired Brad Burgess as national sales manager for scanning products in the Topcon Emerging Business Unit.

Burgess began his career as a surveyor in the U.S. Army. From there, he gained many years of product and business experience in the private sector working in the survey divisions of various positioning manufacturers.

“We are excited to have Brad on board,” said Charles Rihner, TEBU vice president. “His high level of product expertise, industry knowledge and leadership skills are invaluable to our division. Brad will be a tremendous asset to both our distributors and end users in helping find growth opportunities and in successfully implementing scanning technology.”

Topcon Positioning Systems, Livermore, Calif., designs and manufactures precise positioning products and solutions for the global surveying, construction, agriculture, civil engineering, mapping and GIS, asset management and mobile control markets.
