Terex Construction Americas Names National Sales Director

Southaven, Miss.-based Terex Construction Americas recently named Matt Beller as national sales director. In his new position, Beller will be responsible for sales and distribution for all Terex construction products sold in North America, as well as managing the Terex Construction Americas sales organization, which includes the outside and inside sales teams and the scheduling and dealer development teams.

“Terex has a solid product portfolio and has built up a remarkable team in North America,” said Beller. “As national sales director, I will have the opportunity to work closely with the products and the people to develop a greater brand presence for Terex in the construction industry.”

Beller joined Terex Construction Americas in 2004 as a regional manager and most recently served as the division sales manager for the Southeast region. Prior to joining Terex, Beller worked as a territory manager for Genie Industries, a Terex company. Beller’s previous sales management experience also includes various positions with Stowers Machinery, JLG Industries, Falconite Industries and Care Supply Co.

In other Terex news, the company last week named Matt Fearon to the newly created position of vice president and managing director for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia for the Terex Aerial Work Platform business, which includes Genie, Terex Lift, Terex light construction products and Terex Load King. The position reports directly to Tim Ford, president of Terex AWP.

“Matt understands our focus on customer service and brings a wealth of leadership experience,” said Ford. “He will assess growth opportunity and drive our investment in the region to best position Terex AWP for the future.”

Fearon was formerly vice president of manufacturing and engineering operations for Genie Industries’ facilities in Washington, where he worked for 12 years. Prior to Genie, he had various engineering and management roles at Pratt & Whitney and Hercules Aerospace. He will be relocating to the United Kingdom this summer.

Headquartered in Redmond, Wash., Genie Industries is a subsidiary of Terex Corp., a diversified global manufacturer based in Westport, Conn.
