Sany America Opens Corporate Headquarters, Expands Dealer Network

Sany America last week opened its new corporate headquarters in Peachtree City, Ga., transitioning its assets to the new 400,000-square-foot office and manufacturing facility.

“For the last fourteen months we have pursued an aggressive construction schedule to complete our new manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters,” said Sany America president Jack Tang. “Over the weekend, we moved our company into the new office space, and all of our departments are now under a single roof.”

A newcomer to the North American heavy equipment market, Sany is well-established in Asia’s construction sector. This year, Sany Heavy Industry joined the Financial Times Global 500 list and the Forbes World’s Most Innovative Companies list. In July, the Wall Street Journal also reported that Sany has overtaken Caterpillar for excavator market share in China, and Sany continues to dominate concrete pump truck sales in Asia.

“We are looking forward to ramping up production in our manufacturing area,” Tang said. “By the end of this year, we should have our first concrete pump trucks roll off of our assembly line, and then it will only be a short time before we are producing our cranes and hydraulic excavators as well.”

The new facility in Peachtree City features 60,000 square feet of office space and a 340,000-square-foot manufacturing and assembly area. To date, Sany has invested $60 million in the site.

The company last week also signed new dealer agreements with Four Seasons Equipment, Houston; Custom Truck and Equipment, Kansas City, Mo.; and Imperial Crane Services, Bridgeview, Ill.

“This expansion of our dealer network extends our crane distribution across the Midwestern and South Central United States,” said Kyle Nape, vice president of global sales and marketing at Sany America. “By the end of next year, we intend to broaden our dealer coverage to encompass the entire continental US.”

Sany Group is the world’s largest concrete machinery manufacturer and ranks sixth among the world’s construction machinery manufacturers. Worldwide, Sany serves its customers through 15 logistics and parts warehouses.
