PHP Acquires Heating Parts Division of DESA Heating
PHP, a Valparaiso, Ind.-based wholesale distribution company of construction and rental equipment, supply and parts, has acquired the indoor/outdoor heating parts division of DESA Heating, Bowling Green, Ky.
DESA, nationally known for its Master brand heaters, filed for bankruptcy in December 2008. PHP will continue to support the need for kerosene, propane and natural gas forced-air heaters as well as the need for certain lines of indoor vent-free heaters. PHP’s customers include national and international companies, including United Rentals, Hertz Equipment Rental Corp., RSC Equipment Rental, Sunbelt Rentals, Star Rentals, Vandalia Rentals and others.
PHP will continue to carry other brand names such as Heat Wagon, Sureflame and Space Ray.
